Special Order Gauges for Vertical DOT Cylinders

  1. Determine gauge head size and material.
  2. Specify tank diameter (on the tank nameplate, or measure the circumference of the cylinder
  3. Specify height of cylinder (not including footring)
  4. Specify the distance from the center of the gauge opening to the outside wall of the cylinder
  5. Specify "H" dimension, the measurement from the highest point of the cylinder head to the top of the coupling or flange
  6. Specify the tank capacity: 200# (90kg), 300# (136kg) or 420# (190kg)
  7. Furnish the name of the cylinder manufacturer
